Am I the only one who never used their WaveBird? It was revolutionary, but the lack of rumble didn't impress me.

E3 is June 11-13! Early discussion, conference chats, livestream links and any other matter of hype and worry can be found in the E3 2013 thread. This is sure to be a doozy.

Nintendo was just ahead of the curve again. Didn't you know that wireless controllers without rumble are totally nextgen.
Really though, it was the first wireless controller I ever used for any system that worked as well as a wired controller. I wonder if they'll release a superwavebird for the Wii at some point. wireless, rumble, and motion control, maybe even the pointing feature of the Wii Remote.

Yes you are the only one.
After the Wavebird came out I didn't play GC games with the corded controller again. I honestly didn't care much about rumble in GC games because I wasn't playing genres that necessitated it. I barely touched any FPSes on GC, didn't play many racing games (OK F-Zero GX).

Wind Waker was where rumble was really missed. I hated bumping into walls and not feeling that vibration.

I honestly don't care about wireless controllers. I used wired controllers until I got the logitech wireless PS2 controller as a gift a year or two ago, and it doesn't seem to be much different to me.

I never liked wireless controllers, but the 360 wireless controller is a different beast entirely than anything that I've used before.
It is not just as good as the wired one, it is SUPERIOR. It has a better heft to it then the wired because of the battery pack, and I've never had any problems with responsiveness.
