You were inciting the flames though, no offense. If you know he'll get that way, then don't bring it upon yourself, and don't be so surprised it happened.
Tread carefully Exodu5. You don't want the POP defense force on your ass because you dared to state the obvious. They'll have 18 reasons for you why Greg would never, ever incite trouble in a thread.

Greg was obviously laughing at the defense of a botched firmware update (which Nintendo and Microsoft have had to deal with, also) from the same poster that said that
achievements. the mold which the 2.4 firmware's trophies were created from, are the "most disturbing trend" in games today.
Do me a favor there genius.
1) Go back to the beginning of this thread, and let me know if Greg's posts came before, or after my "defense of this firmware" began. You don't seem to have your defense of Greg's facts straight just yet.
2) Go back to my "Most disturbing trend in gaming" thread, and take careful note of all the positive things I had to say about achievements. I point blank stated I LIKE ACHIEVEMENTS. Again, get your info straight before replying in a thread like this.
My entire complaint in the "Most disturbing trend" thread, revolved around game journalists who have become obsessed with achievements, and how it impacts what they pay attention to and cover in the gaming universe. I NEVER said I don't like achievements. I only dislike what they have done to some people.
So I guess that takes you back to the drawing board regarding my likes and dislikes in the gaming world. I must be the only "Sony Fanboy" in the world who plays his 360 more than his PS3, and owns a lot more 360 games than he does PS3 games. In other words, I don't fit into that nice little mold you'd love to place me in. I only defend or go after what I see as incorrect, or out of place. Nothing more, nothing less. If someone posted a thread saying the Xbox 360 sucks, I'd be one of the first people replying in that thread to disagree. The truth is, there is just a lot more nonsense spoken about the PS3 these days, so thats were I'm most often disagreeing with someone.
