Dust off that Wii, jerk face. Its time to get back to the track and get our race on. This time, both myself and Outlaw Moogle will be recording the goings-on and I will be putting our videos together along with the Skype conversation (more on that in a second).

Assuming we're lucky enough to round up at least a dozen people, we'll be using the friend room setup in MK:Wii, giving us forced 4-race grand prixs with track voting. Vote on a course or go random, go hog wild. Except Luigi Circuit. Goddamn Luigi Circuit. There will also be a Skype conversation for anyone that would like to participate. If you're interested, add me in Skype (still should be Kirbutashi) or post your contact info so I have you on my list in time for the game night. I'll be recording the conversation and will it add it to the videos of the night. The Skype conversation is optional. You do not need to participate in it in order to join the race.

After the night of indeterminate events (starting with races, but we can battle, too, should the group demand it.) I'll take the Skype conversation, and the videos recorded by myself and Outlaw Moogle and will make a series of videos shortly thereafter. All I need for you to post is your friend code. Be sure to add mine at least, but feel free to add in anyone else that will be joining us. Feel free to suggest other days or times if this won't work. Hopefully two weeks will be enough to round up a dozen drivers at least. Hope to see you come out and remember: Mario Kart isn't always about winning.

Though doubtful, if there is overflow, do not fret. I will keep the topic up to date on any happenings (good for anyone joining us that isn't in Skype or IMing with me while they race) e.g. someone dropping out or the number of people playing gets low enough to where we move to public racing.

Don't worry about the Skype portion. You'll notice that the desync gets worse and worse (as well as a mysteriously white outline). OM will handle that on Friday since he has a warehouse of computers compared to my one that doesn't like recording two things at once. The videos from Friday will be separated every 4 races instead of this 30 min thing. And if anyone that plans on joining the Skype convo but doesn't want their name revealed, let me know and I'll cover it up.

Here's what going on tonight:

At 8:45 PM EST I'll be rounding up whoever wants to get in on the Skype chat. If you want in and I don't have your contact information, either post here, PM me, or IM me (most preferably). Right when we hit 9 PM I'll start the room up and let that simmer for a bit to make sure Outlaw Moogle can get home and set up (west coasters ruin everything). I'll try to keep the topic up to date with what's going on if anyone that isn't in the Skype chat wants to know. We'll go on for however long we have people to play. If anyone wants to get some battle mode in, speak up and we'll see about it.

Here's hoping we have a decent turn-out! If the number gets low, we can take our posse to the public races.
