What kind of time works for everyone? I'm thinking about 8EST.

Do I need to download any of the extra courses if we want to play them? Or is it enough for the host to have the extra content?

You have to have the game fully updated, but I'd assume you can't play the extra courses unless you purchased them. Not positive though.

Two things:


1) You have to make sure to click on the online portion of this game, as it will likely prompt you to update the game. This game uses a convoluted system in which you update all the additions to the game, regardless if you'll ever use them. This could take a long time if you haven't played the game in a while, and you have to complete all updates in order to play online. I'm serious when I say it could take a while. Maybe even an hour for those who haven't updated in a while. You've been warned.


2) I'm almost certain you must buy any new courses to play them. Honestly, I didn't even like the first new course they released. I think they put out a new one recently, but I haven't heard anything about that one.

I'd be interested in playing a round or two tonight though.

Yeah, I went through the ridiculous update thing a couple weeks ago. Hopefully I'm up to date.

We only ended up playing one. took like a half-hour to even get the game going, and then the effing voice chat wouldn't work. I kicked SaitoH's ass and we switched to RE5.

I'm in for some golf - the Pens just scored their 4th goal so there is not much hockey to watch. Look for me (lactose_hurts) at about 9PM EST

Hmmmm - my system is now updating. Seems to do this a lot with this game and they tend to take a long time - is it just me or do the patches take hours to download and install? It's like the entire game is being redownloaded when there is a change.

...oh and the Pens are leading 5-0

It took my PS3 over an hour and a half to install updates for this game. I don't have the fastest connection, plus the download process errored out twice. Ridiculous.
