I'll play any or all of those. Gonna try out the new Gears maps tonight--though I suppose we wouldn't want to impose what is essentially a $10 fee on game night. Annex would be a hoot with or without them.

How late do game nights go? I'm going to go see spider-man 3, but when I come back, I'm in for Gears and Catan, preferably Catan. Not that good at gears, only played like twice online.

Resistance is also good, but that's my least favorite of these three.

Generally it just goes for as long as people wanna play. I'd imagine there will still be gaming going on into the night.

I'm also in the Spiderman 3 kerfuffle, so I might (not) be on. I'd definitely be up for some Catan, seeing as that's the only game I have out of those CJ listed.

When does Game Night usually get rolling? I'd be down for some 10:30ish Gears, if people are still on. Don't have the new maps, haven't tried Annex. It's been a while since I've fired up GoW, and getting down with some PodPeople would be cool.

Gears of War I will play without new maps though. Also, I'm down for some Halo 2 if any wants in, thinking of picking up the new maps.

I should be able to join in the fun tonight. Gears sounds great (gives me an excuse to download the maps!), but I'd be willing try some Catan--that is, if people are willing to be patient while I learn.

I'm cool with Gears, but again, I don't have the new maps, and and I'm trying to hold off on any more premium downloads for awhile; rented The Descent off of the video marketplace, and got the new Halo maps a couple weeks ago.

Does anyone know if those maps are in matchmaking rotation yet? I know over on Bnet they said all the downloading problems had delayed the rollout of the new playlists, but I don't recall seeing a date for when it would happen. So I would also be down with some Halo custom games, even though I know I missed that game night, which I'm still pissed about.

OK, how about Gears but not with the new maps then? Then if there's interest we can switch to Catan. I am so addicted to it. MC, it's pretty easy to pick up. One run through the Learn As You Play mode, or even 10 minutes with it will give you the basics. But I can help ya out too.

It's probably gonna be closer to 10 central when I'm able to hop on tonight.

I'll be at another Halo 2 LAN party but since I suck at Halo 2 I might be able to steal away to a corner.

yeah i'd be up for some Halo at some point tonight; i've had these maps since they were released and I haven't played a single damn game on either of 'em.

so the night can start off with a little GoW, and if anyone's up for Halo, it can go from there. i should be on around 11 eastern.

Sounds good, thanks. I actually messed around w/ the tutorial for about 5 min. the other night, so I'm not completely clueless. A little time, I'm sure I'll be fine.

As for what game(s) is (are) played tonight, I'm in for just about anything--I'm just excited to have some people to play online!

Good friggin' lord Live is running verrrrrry slow for me tonight. Very slow. So maybe Catan is the answer.

damn, I suck at actually getting home in time to partake in these here game nights. that's what happens when a bunch of sailors end their day with a 7-9pm evening sail, with the local bar but two blocks from the pier and tomorrow being cinco de mayo.

ah, well. there's always next week, I guess...
