I completely agree with the caller who was praised Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. As much as I love SotN, DoS felt like a more complete experience, leaving me feeling completely satisfied even before unlocking the surprisingly cool bonus mode.

Ouch! Touché!
That being said, I did enjoy the simple voicemail from Mike. I hope all callers emulate his simple, strong voicemail.

I had the exact same experience as CJ with Dead Space. I beat it really late at night and once I realized I could start the game over with everything, I played through the first few chapters. I remember being exhausted and wondering why I was doing this.

That would be me.
The funny thing is that if you stuck me on a desert island and said I could only pick one, I wouldn't know which one to choose. They're both such good, fully featured games that have a lot to offer.
One of the other reasons why I picked that one as my Game of the Decade though, was because for me it was one of the first DS games that didn't seem like some sort of gimmicky tech demo or remake, and actually felt like a fully featured game for the system. Granted, I think Kirby Canvas Curse came out before it, and while I think that's a good game, Dawn is what made me finally start taking my DS everywhere with me and it's why it's my favorite system currently. I agree with Ford on New Super Mario. I haven't played the game single-player yet, outside of a level or two, and I've had a great time with it. My wife and I "beat" it (got to credits, are working on collecting coins now) together. There was definitely some frustration here and there, but the secret is for me not to get on her when she screws up (or screws us both up) and for her to step aside and bubble when we're in huge trouble. The number of levels where it was really just me could probably be counted on one hand. Played it four-player once and that was kind of underwhelming, but I think it shines in 2P mode. My one complaint about the game is there was one level where it seemed like you had to take a hit (maybe two) to get where you needed to go. Maybe I just missed the "right" way to do it, but that was the only way we could figure out. (EDIT: Thanks to the power of YouTube I just found out the right way. Duh)
Regarding Uncharted 2, it deserves those No. 1 rankings, and I was a real skeptic. To me, it actually fulfils the claims the first game's biggest fans made. U1 was a triumph in presentation (and even graphics, although U2 looks so much better) that really fell apart on the gameplay front -- the individual elements were all pretty good, but the whole seemed less than the sum of its parts.

Also it's kinda funny, I saw Peewee's Big Adventure for the first time not even a month ago.
