I've also got a bunch of Coen Brothers movies I haven't seen queued up and have been making my way through those. Blood Simple, Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink and Fargo for starters.
Does this topic cover TV also? I recently plowed through Sons of Anarchy and I'm excited that Big Love season 4 started this week.

Love that show. That and Hamtaro are all I've watched recently. Finally saw season three of The IT Crowd. Terrific. If you've never seen it, all the seasons are on Netflix instant watch.

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
I recently saw the movie Daybreakers. Much more enjoyable then I expected but isn't much more then an above average vampire movie with political undertones.

Also some of the advertised monsters were only in like one shot in the entire movie. I question that.
Before that I watched one of my favorite movies for the hundredth time, The Lion in Winter. Peter O' Toole is such a badass. Just is.
Oh and back in December I watched the entirety of The Human Condition, which I think is a really really amazing movie. Trying to describe the movie is hard, because I feel like anything but the bare minimum spoils where the story ends up going. Basically it's about a Japanese humanist/pacifist in World War II Manchuria. It really stuck in my mind.

I hate that nobody seems to watch this show.
In the past month, or so, I watched all 5 seasons of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. "Kitten Mittens" is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. I watched that clip over and over again until I couldn't see.

Youth in Revolt was a funny yet tragic movie. Both of the main characters are so messed up it was hard to leave that theatre without thinking about how much it would suck to be them. These are not characters that will end up in any situation better then trailer parks.

Portia Doubleday is really cute, and all of Francois Dillinger's lines were great.

I really hope Michael Cera stops getting typecasted like that. Same goes for Ellen Page.Yes she is.
I always find it funny when actors in their 20's play teens.
Man, Ellen Page is really cute too. Did anyone see Whip It just because she was in it? I did. It was worth it.

Oh yeah, I did see Whip it actually, just because I will basically watch anything with certain people in it and Ellen page is one of those people. Thought the film seemed like it was trying too hard to be quirky of hipster-y though......if you get what I mean......still good though.
I've spent the last few months watching every season of How I Met Your Mother that is available on DVD. I have a strict rule that I avoid CBS like the plague(except for football of course) but that show has given me hope for the sitcom. It's my favorite show now. I also watched all of the Lost episodes and I don't know why I didn't like that show the first time I tried to watch it but I'm very much into it now. Finally I'm getting my wife into Mad Men so I'm rewatching all of those. I didn't think she would like it but I have been pleasantly proven wrong.

Have you learned nothing from Mad Men? you make her watch it, my, what would the neighbours think
Just looked up Man vs Food, I love things like that, I used to love watching "Bizarre foods with Andrew zimmern", still haven't seen season 4 of it actually. Will definately have to check out Man vs Food though, wtf is it with you Americans and Big foods though, fatties!

It is the original cast. They wrote this mini series which I think it called "Death comes to town" which is based on all new characters. It started this week on the CBC, so i would assume it should be available on torrents for the non-Canadians in the group.
CBC's site is having issues at the moment, but this should be the link to it when it does work.

If you like them I would say you would enjoy this.

On Tuesday he dedicated his whole hour to mocking Jay Leno and his show. Complete with bad jokes, bad accident, and bad headlines. He then appeared as the guest during The Jay Leno's show last night doing the whole 10 on 10 (10 questions right before 10 PM). Almost all of his answers were really scathing and hurtful comments aimed at Jay and NBC. He even joked about how bad his show is doing.
You can see the video here if anyone is interested. It's filled with all the different hosts and their take on the NBC situation. I suggest at the very least watching Jimmy Kimmel answering Jays questions (second video).

We breezed through season one of Mad Men. She is officially hooked. She also has no respect for any of the women on the show.
Man, Adam Richman(the Man vs. Food guy)makes pigging out disgusting and that's saying a lot. I like to eat more than I should just like the next guy but there are many times where I say to myself, "I want nothing to do with that."
I've been watching a lot more late night talk shows since the whole Leno/Conan thing started.
If you follow me on Twitter you know that this has been a big issue for me. Sorry if I've been going on about it too much, but I do not hate another human being more than Jay Leno. Letterman has been eviscerating him a lot too. He obviously hasn't forgotten that Leno screwed him too. There is a clip of him impersonating Leno asking his wife Mavis to bring him oil filters. I couldn't stop laughing.

Just got into Outnumbered, another UK show that's also kinda similar in style to The Office. It's Modern Family, except with just one family (like Phil & Claire) instead of three. The kid actors are hilarious.
Also watching The IT Crowd. Only through Series 1 at the moment but I'll get to the rest via Netflix.
As far as US shows... Tough Love (VH1 dating schlock, but it's entertaining), Modern Family, 30 Rock, The Office, Parks & Recreation, and LOST. Waiting patiently for more Gordon Ramsay to show up and for The Apprentice UK to start in the spring (shit, just read it won't be starting until the summer...damnit!).

Hey CJ, have you ever tried watching Better Off Ted? Looking at your list of shows I think that might be something you would like.
I have not seen Better Off Ted yet, but I want to. Is it on Netflix? I don't think it is... maybe I'll watch on Hulu or ABC.com sometime...
