They just announced they're doing a remastered version of Broken Sword 2 just like they did with the first game. Even more reason to do Shadow of the Templars for Game Club!

Spyro is a much better series - as difficulty isn't the single factor used in judging a games quality. And Spyro's music was by Stewart Copeland - The Police can beat up Devo any day.

I'll cop to not having played Ripto's Rage, but the three "core" iterations of Crash that Naughty Dog developed are classic. My problem with Spyro's lack of difficulty is that it was just too easy to do everything and it mostly devolved into a collect-a-thon, as so many platformers were wont to do in that era.

Rolling Thunder 2 is on VC!

I think Alundra would make an awesome Game Club choice. It's a Zelda clone, so it'd scratch that itch that remains since the Majora's Mask GC episode was canceled, and it's a fairly interesting and dark game.

I do miss these. I guess I understand not getting back to it if everyone doesn't join in but I'd love to see it return. Also, I agree with the idea that Alundra would be great...since I bought it from PSN and just need a good reason to bump it to the front of the line.

Well so Monday the 21st of Feb is 25 years since the first Zelda game was released so how about doing a Game Club the following week for the Legend of Zelda on the NES, its not too long, sure you can do it in under 5 hours, also be good to revisit it and look back at why its such an amazing game.

We did a shooter for Game Club a while back, and it didn't really lead to a very interesting discussion. Honestly, I wouldn't have much positive to say about Ikaruga anyway. I'm just not a fan of the "bullet hell" style of shooter. Give me a Gradius or a Blazing Lazers.

two problems with it... you can't save the game and the password system is broken and it really could use a release with online coop.

I can stand that, but only if every BttF game is an option for the Gameclub, and not just the episodic ones that are currently "hot"
