My review of Breach is almost done and I'll post it at noon.

I went back and tried MC:D with a DS3 last night and I really liked it. I can't get the deadzone right for the move controls. But if anyone want to play either LMK

These seem like the two most generic FPS I've ever seen. What's the hook for either of them? What reason would there be to play one of these, rather than Halo, CoD, MAG, Monday Night Combat, or another, more accomplished FPS?

The default deadzone is fine. Are you trying to get it so the screen turns the instant you move your move? It doesn't (and wont) work that way, and you lose one of the most interesting advantages of using a pointer. Spend some time with it and you will love it, i promise.

Otherwise... what mik said. It's cool, i guess, that these games exist on the cheap, but everyone already owns a far superior version of each game, so the point of their existence is questionable.

Fair questions. I guess the hook is that they are decent FPSs you can play without having to swap the disc. ...that's all I got

Pete I won't be using move with MC:D it's just not well implemented to me. I may just use the DS3 with MAG too.

That actually does have a decent impact one me. I've played more Lead and Gold than I would have if I needed to put a disc in to do so, for sure.

Breach is like Bad Company 2 with a cover system and more destructive environments.

According to the 15 minute demo i watched last year at PAX East from a real military guy who worked on the game, its much more tactical realistic than anything else out there.

Breach is pretty polly wolly crappy. It looks like ass, (think 1st gen 360 games) the screen tearing is a joke, the framerate stinks, the audio stinks, the controls stink, there's TONS of lag, plus there are bugs galore. One annoying bug was when my Y Axis inversion kept getting turned off even though the option was set to "On" I had to keep turning it on and off and changing the control config to get it back to the way i wanted.

I dont care how tactical the devs want to make you think the game is, as a technical product, it is awful.

Oh well, back to Bad Company 2.

@Levity I can understand why you feel that way. I must admit that things have gotten worse since the game was officially released. Playing over the weekend was much smoother.

Don't they test these? On a system with 100 good shooters on it, im amazed they released this game in the condition that its in. I'm not just talking about the lag. Looks like thats the end of Atomic Games. If this is any indication 6 Days of Fallujah would have tanked anyway.
