I had read some people going nuts about this pre-release, but it sounded like something that totally wasn't for me. First time I've watched the video, though, and the style looks fantastic.

I have a rule that if a game wants me to talk about it on Twitter or my friends list or whatever, I will never buy it because fuck them. Considering the last game I bought with that was Blur and it was pretty whatever, I've yet to see this rule steer me wrong!

A game wanting you to do it doesn't bother me, as it's a choice. All of the twitter spam for this game is from people hitting a button that says "Tweet this." Because those people, evidently, think you give a fuck about spam from the game they are playing.

Drives me nuts. Not the option itself, but those that use it.

Some games try to integrate themselves into social network, or want you to spam high scores (which is a bit more forgivable, but im still not a fan). For those I created an account called "Mortspam."

If i ever get an obscenely high score in doodle jump and really, really, really feel the need to share it with the world, i'll just retweet it from that account.

I REALLY want to play this game. Is there any reason why it couldn't work on another platform like XBLA/PSN or even the 3DS?

No reason at all. There are a couple puzzles that are much more interesting and cool by virtue of the multi-touch solution. But the game would still play fine with a controller. And I'd love to see it on an HDTV.

Myst doesn't have a 3rd puzzle since there's no set order to solve them in.

Technicalities aside...

I haven't played this game, but if CJ likes it, it can't be too hard. Man up!

Oh, and is this iPad only? Not iPhone? I suppose from the screenshots I can see it might not translate well to a small screen, but lame... I can't play it...

The first session was easy and enjoyable and I felt like I knew what was going on. This second one has gone off the deep end in regards to my understanding it.

So this is out on PC now. Since it didn't initially come out on iPhone I kinda ended up skipping out on it even though I wanted to play it, since I had no iPad. Now I'm just wondering if I should go for the PC version or the iPhone version. I understand it uses the iPhone tilt stuff for something or other, but I dunno how important it would be compared to being able to play it on my monitor instead of a tiny screen.

I'm leaning toward PC, but anyone have the down low on this?

Time to ressurect this thread because I'm playing it now. I have finished the first two sections and I really like it. I just wish the character moved a bit faster. Anyone else playing through it now? I got it with the humble bundle

Finally digging into this-- it's been sitting on my hard drive since I picked it up as part of the humble bundle. I'm really enjoying it, though I will say I kinda wish I had the iPad version instead. It just feels like it would play so great on that platform.

At first I had no idea what the hell was going on. But then I realized it's really just an adventure game, and that I'd basically learn what I needed to know through trial and error. I was okay from that point on.

I'm trying to get back into this. I do 99.99% of my iPhone gaming on the trax train to and from work while I listen to podcasts or music on my Zune. This is usually a great way to go, but Sword and Sorcery really deserves a) a good pair of headphones to listen to it on, and b) a less distracting environment to play in. So I keep meaning to play it when I get home but then I have my consoles and PC and I just forget. Someday!

I just killed the grizzled boor and got the key, not quite sure what to do next but I'll figure it out eventually.

Still think this game is the best looking iPhone game around.
