The easy and beginner tracks take very little skill unless you want top 10% times. The medium tracks introduce light climbing which is what a lot of people have problems with. You really need to get good at the earlier tracks before moving up to hard.
Hard levels kick you in the face right away where they are like "Oh you weren't paying attention? Guess what, this first hill is going to take you 100 attempts to climb."
Expert levels are their own breed of insane, but once you get good at the hard levels you should be able to pass the expert levels.
The preview hints that the mini games are good teaching tools in the sequel.

I always hated the Space Station level, and I also hated the levels that made you use the donkey bike.
Not overly excited about controlling ufos
Same here
Did you ever get the achievement for doing one of the courses with the Donkey Bike and no faults? I tried for an hour one day with no luck. I think it was part of the 2nd DLC pack

Running a business takes a lot of time and effort...time that I'd bet most of these folks would rather spend developing games. Corporate overlords frees you of that a bit...and you get a huge chunk of change. So Ubisoft just bought RedLynx. Between these guys and Twisted Pixel, what's with awesome indie devs who seemingly don't need a corporate cash influx selling themselves to publishers with questionable track records lately?

Be there.
I fired up Trials HD last night for the first time in months to sharpen my skills. I was a little rusty at first, but was able to beat a few scores on the last DLC tracks. My original track times are just not attainable for me right now.
some people are so damn good at the original game.
1 more day

I really enjoyed the first Trials, even though I felt it got very difficult rather quickly, I still liked it. This looks like a much more fleshed out version of that game.

Leaderboards are awesome.....i love racing against my ghost....
The biggest addition is the way you download created tracks. It takes less than seconds to down them, each track has its own leaderboard. The finder is awesome. It helps that they are rated as "most popular, highest rates, you might like" Its pretty awesome.
The only issue i have is that certain tracks required certain bikes that I hadn't unlocked yet so I couldn't play them.
I can't wait to see what kind of stuff people make.
There's a competitive Foosball table, an angry birds clone, a first person shooting gallery, and what appears to be a baseball field.
I can seriously see me putting 1000 hours into this game.
If you found the first game too difficult, i'm sure the user community will put out hundreds of levels for all skill levels....and they work just like the regular game with leaderboards
For creative people like Pete and Mike (and his daughters), I can see them having a field day making levels for this game.
Its easily my game of the year based on potential.
Everyone buy this... NOW.

I wish doing flips did shit for you. Because flips are fun.
Tracks that turn are neato.
Racing down giant mountains is super fun. Having to stop and do technical shit to get up stupid shit is less fun (to me... i do understand that the hardcore love that shit).
Im assuming the downloadable tracks will give me enough mountains to drive down.
Im gonna upload a video in a minute of me doing the first tournament. Levity will want to punch the screen im so bad. Some NSFW language as I crash.
