Needless to say I disabled it immediately.

Where does one look for this disable option?I had the same experience as Phil in the "WTF why did it download The Tester". Then I did a quick Google search and discovered that you can select to let PS+ download "recommended programs and features" or something like that.
Needless to say I disabled it immediately.

Done and done. Thanks!Under System Settings, you can enable/disable the automatic downloading with PS+. If you select enable, you get further options of when you want it to do the automatic downloading and what it downloads.

So does her music.
So Through the Fire, Tell Me Something Good, Ain't Nobody, I'm Every Woman etc are all terrible songs? Really?

With Greg on Metro. It's a game I wanted to like, and I liked a lot of things about it, but I found portions of the combat really tough to enjoy, and ultimately stopped playing at a stealth section that frustrated the hell out of me. I wonder if I'd have enjoyed it more on PC.
Mike is right about hours vs. dollars... although I don't get his complaints about Kickstarter.
I think Kickstarter's a great idea and a good way to de-risk projects for a company like Double Fine.

We sort of work the in-between territory of board games -- not your generic North American stuff, but much lighter fare than some of the ridiculously complex European games that are available. Dominion is one that has pretty solid appeal for us.
I do agree that I don't want to hear discussion about them on a videogame podcast, though (sorry Jeff Cannata, although he probably is one reason that I tried Dominion... not the reason I gave up on Weekend Confirmed, though).

Mik doesn't like people so board games cause him no end of pain. Also, I think board games are pretty cool. I do occasional (maybe once every three weeks) game nights with friends, and over the past six months or so we've migrated a little to board games from video games and I think it's been relatively positive.

Complex Euro games? That's what the NA games are more known for...especially the stuff from Fantasy Flight. I guess the 18xx games might count as Euro games but that series is only representative of itself.

Dominion and a couple of other card games (one of them is Fantasy Flight, but it's lighter fare than average) are about as complex as it gets for us. I think I've got the biggest threshold for learning among the group... I downloaded the iPad version of Puerto Rico and I'll be damned if I know what the hell is going on (I'm sure I'll figure it out after a few more tries).
Trying to teach it to the group just isn't going to happen.

FWIW, I thought the iPad version of Puerto Rico did a terrible job in teaching the rules. Same with Tikal.
