I'm probably gonna have to switch to a new character for today's course... I usually play as that novice french lady [Isabelle or something?] but she's poor in the rain. We'll see how it goes I guess.

Welp, hole 8 ruined my shit today. A disappointing finish to season one, but I guess that's all the more motivation to bust my ass in the second season

Final round results are up.
It's the season that just doesn't want to end! I had planned from the beginning to have a one day playoff if there was a tie for first but it never happened... until our final tournament. It's not going to affect the season outcomes, but if you guys don't mind please do it for protocol/proper scoring. Winner of the playoff of Juanster vs Kurichan gets 20 points, loser gets 18 (as per it being a double major).
But it is now safe to claim TheKurichan as the Season one champ! Congrats, aussie!
And we have another tie. Neither stewy or superpac scored high enough to earn points so even though superpac did better this tournament they still are in a statistical tie for the season. It would be rad if they could both play round 1 today and tell each other their scores on the show tonight, declaring a winner. (of course it's your lives, your show, etc... so do it how you want, i'll report the scores tomorrow as i see them). Also if anyone just wants to concede that's fine as well.
Important for both playoff games: Playoffs are the only time that the HSG points matter, so P1P hosts especially bring that info with you (if you do plan on revealing scores on the show). Because if there is a tie in score in a playoff it will then go to the points as the tiebreaker. If those are tied also there will be another tiebreaker the following day.
I swear these were my plans/rules all the time, it just never came up. Heck I may have even posted it somewhere.
Not in my plans/rules the whole time is that whoever wins the P1P host playoff gets 1 point. One lowly point. But that will bump you up over your fellow host.

You can do the almost final standings now. The only thing that will change is who gets 20 and who gets 18, but i don't know if that will make any actual difference in where juan places. I think he locked up third either way. Just give yourself both 18 right now and tomorrow add 2 to the playoff winner. Or hell, have juan post his score after he plays today since you already played... and we'll have results before then.
And adding a point to sewart/superpac after the fact shouldn't be a big deal.

Congrats Kurichan on the season 1 victory, my collapse in the final round of the season really hurt, but you were consistent all season and deserved it.
Big thanks to everyone for making this so much fun (especially to Kurichan and Mortimer). This has certainly been one of the few bright spots for me in recent weeks.

Nice, I'm in the top 10... just barely
Considering I was a little late to the party and had a handful of really rocky rounds, I'd consider it a win.

"look son, I won a round"
"is that in the world dad?"
"hrm ... yes, yes it is son."
Congrats to Kurichan, looking forward to season 2!

Phineas is a weird, enigmatic dude. Which is why i like him so much.
Looking at the numbers again, he's a force to be reckoned with. He never finished below 3rd in the tournaments he played.
