E3 is June 11-13! Early discussion, conference chats, livestream links and any other matter of hype and worry can be found in the E3 2013 thread. This is sure to be a doozy.
Congrats to Phil on the birth of Finn!

We're all home tonight, and mom and Finn are both doing great. We're both obviously exhausted at the moment, but Dana's folks are here to lend a hand (and watch him while we take the occasional nap).
I'll try to get a new picture or two posted here tomorrow when things settle down a bit.

I've no kids myself, but I'm gonna be an uncle for the first time about 9 or so months from now.
... and what number Final Fantasy will he complete first. Sweapstake anyone?
I'll put $5 on FFIV
- Teach a man to fish and you feed him for life
- Sell a man a fish and he'll have to buy another one tomorrow

Finn's shriveled-up umbilical cord remnant fell off this morning. It was fairly disgusting.

Even more thanks again, you guys!
Finn's shriveled-up umbilical cord remnant fell off this morning. It was fairly disgusting.
Gross. Been going to antenatal classes. Learnt that this is all natural, and nothing to do with surgery! Man, I feel so uninformed. I worry that I won't know what to do when baby comes!
We watched birthing videos and heard about different forms of pain relief and labour management. How on Earth has our species put up with this?!

Congratulations! I imagine this to be something like how you might attempt to sing a lullaby to your child.
