It seems that most modern games don't put much effort into their attract screens as they used to, but every now and then I have noticed a few games that have exceptional titlescreen pieces. I'd like to ask the community to share their favorites from the past and present. If possible, please include a youtube link so we can all enjoy.

The spark of this thread comes from the stunningly beautiful titlescreen theme from Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon for Wii called "To all People". I was absolutely floored the first time I heard it, especially at the 1:44 mark.

Let's all share the titlescreen music we love most!

While I love the arcade and NES versions, the C64 version of Double Dragon will always be my first love as it was the first version I played.

Any version of the old SF music is great but Turbo HD Remix's was great, mainly because of OCRemix.

Journey to Silius has already been posted, but one I remember grooving to a lot that's probably quite under-appreciated is Zak McKracken.

I second levity's choice. What a fantastic title screen. The first time I booted it up I sat and watched it for several minutes.

time to post some multiple titlescreen tracks I adore before they get buried in obscurity.

Robocop 3 (NES) - HORRIBLE game, AWESOME music

Metal of Honor Frontline (PS2/Xbox/GC)

The Great Giana Sisters (C64)

Megaman 2 (NES)

MegaMan 2's screen was awesome, as was Silius (the music was probably the best thing about that game).

I liked the spy games:

Golgo 13: Top Secret

Rolling Thunder 2

And of course, the Zelda loops were so nice. Sure, a little trite, but they're still great. I can just sit back and let them play forever.
Zelda 1

Zelda 2

And some movie licenses on the SNES were better than their source material.

And as long as I'm on that track, I must of course list the absolute best:

And the version tied with it:

How could I forget one of the best ever? My heart breaks a little more every time they bring a GT game to North America and replace "Moon Over The Castle" with some shitty, licensed tune.

I was always partial to this one, in spite of its Game Boy primitiveness:

The previous two games in the series had the same opening theme but more simplified versions-- the third game's iteration of the theme is the best, in my opinion.

Great choice momerath. I've always loved that game, and am currently trotting through the DS remake only released in Japan and thus requires Japanese reading ability. Here's the theme from the remake

There is a fan translation project underway for both of them, but the SaGa 3 one is probably years away from being finished as the game has an absurdly large amount of text. Another thing to keep in mind that the fan translation will be a direct translation and not the heavily rewritten Final Fantasy Legend 3.

I knew I had to import it when I saw the trailer for it:

Back to titlescreen themes, here's three more of my favorites:

SHAME on everyone for not posting this one yet!
Golden Sun (GBA)

Street Fighter II The World Warrior (Arcade)

Giana Sisters DS (DS)
