This week! It's a show of many tangents and stories, which you either will or will not appreciate based on your age and your willingness for this podcast to go into non-gaming territory. But, there is some game talk mixed in there too. On this episode we discuss Rock Band Blitz, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Motorstorm RC Carnival DLC, Fibble, Shift 2 Unleashed, and The Pinball Arcade. It's a special Friday pre-PAX, pre-Easter, Good Friday episode that you can enjoy with the whole family. Except for when we talk about the tentacle animes.

Yeah Mik, I also hate fucked Borderlands for the platinum.
Yeah, looking back on it, that game was kinda strange. I did finish it, but I don' remeber it being very fun. More like a bad drug.
But thanks for the tip on "In the thick of it", That show is amazing, almost as good as "Yes minister/prime minister"

Still listening. I didn't hate Borderlands but think it's overrated... didn't finish it, but I think the only reason I played it as long as I did (which was quite a while) was because of the loot-whoring. Definitely have no interest in the sequel.

I enjoyed Borderlands a lot, but a good part of that is probably the three other people I played with. If I had played solo I would have wanted to kill myself. Even two people would have gotten kind of boring after a while.
Precisely. That game lives and dies with your ability to have people to share it with. Hopefully the sequel thinks up something a little nicer than fetch quests.

My pleasure.
"Let them eat cock!"
"Fuckety-bye!"
Some great comedy suggestions in there, particularly Monty and his Python. He is very good.

I have the Zelda one already, and it looks gorgeous framed. For as nice as it looks online, it's even more beautiful in person. I'm anxiously awaiting the Mario map. Those Mudron prints are spectacular. I'm going to be buying a house pretty soon and both of those will look really great in my basement.
Numan Athletics by Namco. It's actually on the Wii Virtual Console in Japan. It kills me that it's not available over here. I don't recall what episode it was in, though. There was an episode a long while back where the boys were discussing some arcade game they used to play on their lunchbreaks, I believe back in the magazine days. I think I remember them saying it was some 3D stadium sports/Olympics type game, possibly futuristic, and had a really oddball sort of name for the way they described it. Does anyone remember the name of that game, and possibly which episode it was discussed?

I just watched the Numan Athletics video... So, apparently Japan is making games now?
