Hey just wondering if any other P1P listeners are playing SWTOR, and what servers/guilds anyone is in.
I've been playing in the Belgoth's Beacon server, and I'm in some random guild that I would probably leave in an instant. With 1.2 coming out today, I'm hoping that server activity raises a bit since it has been kind of dead lately.
If we have enough P1P fans, would be willing to ditch my lvl 44 consular to start a guild on another server or what not.

I have the game, but don't sub because I play WOW. Also because SWTOR was kind of junk.

Yeah my roommate has been trying to get me to try out WoW, but I wanted to start an MMO from scratch since I had never tried any MMO before.
While its not that impressive, the story has been good. With the lack of community on the servers now, it has almost turned into a single player RPG, with the occasional pop-up of other players. I guess that takes the fun out of the MMO experience, but the RPG player in me is having a decent time. Don't know if I'll re-subscribe after this 60 day play time card is up.

WOW is nothing like a single player RPG. The only reason that it's fun is because of the community aspect. SWTOR definitely wins out there.

I quit playing SWTOR after about 12 levels or so. I just found it so boring. I didn't really give it a fair chance but I just wasn't enjoying it and didn't have the time needed to "really" play the game.

I dunno about that. I mean, in terms of their intentions, sure. But I was only interested in WoW for the duration of time that I could solo it. Once it became clear that my progression was dependent upon raids and grouping with people, I quit playing.WOW is nothing like a single player RPG. Well, sure. I never ever have played WOW exclusively solo, though, and probably would have only played for maybe a few days or a week if I didn't have a guild and raid team that I help run.
As for SWTOR, the interest came in the voiced dialog and such. Much more interesting than other MMOs... and then when you're 20 hours in, it becomes highly irritating. While WOW's quests are pretty terrible, in my opinion, they sure do go fast, even when you've done them for the sixth time to 85.
