In Topic: Have you bought any bad games on purpose?

16 May 2010 - 11:12 PM

Too many to list without boring everyone to tears. It was a much bigger problem last generation. I think I've only purchased a couple of bad games on purpose this gen. I actually enjoy wallowing in bad games, challenging myself to overcome crappy controls, glitches, etc. A lot of the bad games I have bought have been for that purpose. Then there's the games that I've purchased, knowing they were bad, just to bolster my collection. I recall attempting to achieve a complete GameCube collection a few years back and buying BMX XXX along with a couple of other crappy games. Even the sales guy, who probably conned his own grandma into pre-ordering games, tried to talk me out of buying it... several times.

In Topic: Swedish Retailers Spoils the price on Natal....and the only answer is OMGWTFB...

Chalk a lot of that up to Swedish culture. Most of them will simply buy pre-packaged Natal parts from IKEA and assemble their own - it's much cheaper. That comment doesn't really make any sense, but anyway that price wouldn't surprise me. I'd expect closer to $149.99 but I'm prepared to spend whatever it takes to play Game Party, Cruis'n and Ninjabread Man in HD.
