I really like the original Xbox. It's got a robust library of hidden gems since everyone seemingly only bought Halo. It's also got an incredibly rich homebrew scene. A modded Xbox with an large harddrive is a media center, a classic arcade, and emulation powerhouse for retro games. I may think the NES is the best console of all time, but the Xbox is the best multimedia open source console. It's old, but it's still awesome.
