Rules:
Tyres:
1. Winner of previous race restricted to Racing Hard tyres
2. 2nd place in previous race restricted to Racing Medium tyres

Starts/Restarts:
1. Start time will be set at the beginning of practice, it is each racer’s job to be there at the start (exceptions can be made if discussed before start time)
2. A restart will only be called if there is an issue loading all cars onto the grid
3. Only one restart per event

Setups:
1. Setups will be restricted to stock
2. Upgrades will be restricted to stock

Races:
1. No damage
2. Tyre wear is on
3. Mild catch-up on
4. Standard drafting on
5. Standing starts
6. Mild penalties on
7. Weather off
8. 15 mins of practice preceding each event

Driving Conduct:
1. We’re out there to have fun. Please respect your competitors and hold your line if/when someone is attempting a pass. Aggressive driving is fine, but blatant blocking/griefing/shunting will not be tolerated.
     a. Complaints can be filed with me
     b. Host’s replay files will be used to investigate claims
     c. Guilty party will be given a warning. 2nd offense will result in ban.
2. The first turn of every race is always hairy. Sometimes you just can’t avoid the guy in front of you. That being said, please do everything possible to make it through turn 1 safely. If you constantly cause issues here, you will be asked to leave.

Points:
1. The final position in each race will be worth 1 point. Every position forward of that is worth an extra point. Thus the value of each win will be based on number of entrants in that event.
2. An extra point will be awarded for leading the most laps in an event.

I've decided to do the Extra Life gaming marathon again this year. Last year I spent the entire day streaming Sega CD footage and managed to raise almost $800. I'd love to exceed that this year, so please give.

This is to gauge interest. If we end up doing a league this will become the official thread.

Right now it looks as though this will be on the PS3 version only, as that appears to be the version of choice for our resident sports nuts. I'm thinking we only commit to one season at first and see how we feel after that.

Please reply and let us know if you're interested, as well as what team you'd like claim. If we have more than one person claiming the same team, we'll have a fight to the death to determine the winner.
