About Me

Justin Hemenway is a budding journalist (he hopes) and a lifelong gamer. He’s a founding member of The Rumble Pack podcast/blog. Over the years, “Angry J” has made many foolish purchases (the Virtual Boy, Steel Batallion, the Trance Vibrator), but none of them have deterred him from continuing to seek out the weirdest and most original games. In addition to collecting obscene peripherals, he loves reading crime novels and butchering the Chinese language. Speaking of which, Justin taught in scenic Shijiazhuang in 2008, where he acquired a taste for donkey burgers and chicken feet. He earned his Master’s in journalism last July from the University of Illinois and now currently resides in a cardboard box somewhere in Washington Heights.
