Don't give them money, and listen to the podcast when it airs. Honestly, this money is probably going to go to the salary of the person they're going to hire for audio production.

Term life insurance is a far bigger scam than any fucking kickstarter.
Whole life is a much bigger scam than term. Neither is a "scam" if you lack the ability to save money on your own.
