Hi guys not sure if you can take some criticism but hear goes…I have been listening to the show forever although this is the first time I have commented. I am pretty disappointed in how the three of you have been taking a dump on the Xbox and Microsoft. I listen to a lot of shows and most (Joystiq for example) have complimented Microsoft on having one of the best E3 presentations ever. I am confused as to why you would heap praise on what I would consider Sony’s lame looking and embarrassingly poorly presented motion controller and laugh off the much more sophisticated much more revolutionary Natal. You even gushed over the comatose Sony presenter. Are you not the same group who recently declared you would no longer be using your Xbox 360′s for anything other than proprietary games? I think it may be time to rename your broadcast “The Console One Podcast” at least be honest with the listeners your Playstation Fan Boys, wear the badges proudly….

Heh…I think it was just a couple of weeks ago that some people were tearing into us for hating on Sony and being Microsoft fanboys. Have we ever been accused of hating Nintendo? Probably.

In all my years of writing for magazines and websites, I’ve seen countless contradictory “you’re biased” claims directed at various publications. It seems that people only consider you biased if you state an opinion that’s contrary to their own.

As for only using my 360 for exclusive games now, the main reason I’m doing that is because of the whole red ring issue. I mean, I love my 360, but I’m on my THIRD 360 now thanks to the old red ring. And I’m not a guy who mistreats his systems. My 20-year-old NES still works perfectly, for crying out loud.

With Sewart recently losing another 360 to the RRoD, it reminded my that I’m most likely playing on borrowed time. Now that I finally broke down and bought a PS3, I wanna play multiconsole releases on a system that doesn’t have such a spotty track record in regards to functioning.

Although I will be getting Beatles Rock Band on the 360. I’m not rebuying all those guitars and drums for another system.

I think you could point out a couple things when talking about each company that we were less than thrilled by. Project Natal, the Wii Vitality Sensor and no announcement for current PSP owners to get digital versions of their UMD collection if they want to upgrade to the Go or a price drop for PS3. Outside of the talk of Natal I don’t think we had anything *bad* to say about what Microsoft showed off. We just all agreed that when looking at game announcements and showings that Sony had the better press conference.

I think our respective opinions on the Natal are pretty divided. I personally think the tech has loads of potential, and I thought I said that more than once on the show.

Either way, your comment is kind of funny, considering that so many others have been howling for so long about how much we apparently “hate” Sony.

I do buy my multiplatform games almost exclusively on the PS3 right now, but that has nothing to do with system preference and everything to do with Microsoft’s continuing inability to sell me a system that isn’t going to break down. I’m a collector, and I like to go back and play my older games from time to time. As I go though 360s (on my third one now), and I’m out of warranty, I don’t want to amass a huge collection for a system I don’t trust to keep working past a year or so.

Hey guys, big fan here but I have got to agree with Dennis, pretty negative show. I own all three of the systems myself and like them all for their strengths. I thought all three press conferences were very strong in what they revealed with no real loser. I was surprised by the collective hammering of the Microsoft conference. I for one was excited by the software lineup and the ‘potential’ of new technology unlike anything we have seen before. You three sounded like ‘jaded gaming journalists’ though that can’t be the case anymore, can it? Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I just wanted you to know that you negative nelly’s hurt my feelings with this episode.
