Deus Ex was not only my game of the decade, but is my favorite game of all time. I think a lot of modern games have a lot to owe to Deus Ex. It, along with the System Shock games, pioneered and perfected the sort of player empowering RPG/FPS fusion gameplay that we now see frequently in games like Fallout 3, Borderlands, Bioshock, Stalker and Mass Effect
Love the podcast by the way, I’ve been listening for a while but have never thought to comment before.
ha ha! The game that I remember Dragula from the… oh, about 200+ hours I easily sank into Gran Turismo 2. Now don’t get me wrong, that game has its faults and is kinda janky, but I sank a full spring and summer into that game just because it was such a big game.
Nobody that much of a fan of Resident Evil 4?
I thought it was a great show. Refreshing. You don’t see many lists of anything that include two inis games.

I loved RE4 (RE5, not so much), but when you’re limiting yourself to only ten games over a ten year span, you have to sacrifice some great titles.
